ネ申ってるアプリケーションだと思います

iOS6で少しおかしいけど、入力バグは直った。あとは動作の軽量化と、Web版でEnterキーで即送信の仕様を直してもらいたい。PCのブラウザから使えるグループチャットとして需要があると思う。

シンプルでなかなかいいです。 Facebookより好きかもしれない。 パソコンからでもできるのがありがたいです。^o^

This app needs a ground up rebuild. I have to constantly force close and restart the app to get any updated messages. PLEASE fix it.

My kid’s soccer team and my soccer team use this app exclusively to communicate and put out schedules, but 90% of the time I can’t get into the app. It either crashes on me or it looks like there is no chat and no data in my groups. I don’t know what is going on, but I think it is some sort of bug.

When it works it’s good. Otherwise it’s frustration of getting things posted app keeps closing out

I deleted this app and tried to reinstall it now it’s asking for a payment method and it won’t charge but every time I put a payment method it try to charge my card cause I put a payment method I never use so there’s no money on the card what’s up with that

Could be better. Always freezing/glitching. Can’t clone events. Can’t create events online. Gives the option to create group and then add an event but that’s not the same thing. Freezes every time a new event is created. Have to force close and go back in. Or it’ll just allow you to click done forever

every time i click a photo the entire screen freezes and i have to exit the entire app to make it semi functional again

This app used to be better than messenger, WhatsApp, instant messaging, all combined. But whatever you have done lately, STOP IT! Messages won’t load half the time, pictures don’t load at all sometimes, and responses to post… well you can forget it. I rarely write reviews, but when I had to uninstall the app and reinstall twice, I was ready to look for another way to chat with my family.

Hi! I love Groupme for many reasons. It's a lowkey messaging app, great for mixed phone types. It does not need a smart assistant or generative AI component. Please remove this feature! I look forward to continuing to use this app.

The app had been a wonderful way to stay in touch with friends but since it was updated in December it is completely unresponsive and unable to send messages. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it more times than I can count but it makes no difference. I have friends around the world so this is how we have tried to stay in touch but thanks to the update this app is completely unusable.

Ever since the last update a few weeks ago, I love had constant issues with not being able to see messages sent in a group. I get the notification, see the start of the message from main page, then nothing appears in the group chat after I tap on it to open it. Been using app for years & never had issues like this til now. Tried deleting& reopening app, etc, still having the issue & so inconsistent.

For the most part this app does its job; but on the none-too-rare occasion it'll just bug out for a random reason. Messages will be glitchily truncated, on the Home Screen the app will show a persistent badge with no notifs in the app, connection will be iffy, etc. It does its job, but be prepared to deal with glitches and bugs every so often

Idk what happened recently but chats no longer load the first time and I often have to force quit and go back into it to see if the chat will hopefully load. Super annoying.

APP hasn’t been working well for a few weeks, the crashing makes it nearly impossible to use. Very frustrating

It’s unfortunate that in the academic world, there aren’t many viable alternatives that everyone can agree to use despite apps like Slack or Discord being better than GroupMe by miles. Constant crashing, slowness, and other glitches makes it a pain to use this app for anything and everything. I’ve been using it for almost 8 years and it’s never had any significant improvements to its quality. The developers should be ashamed for having such a poorly running app go unfixed for so long.

I have used GroupMe for a while, but about a year ago it stopped working and none of the group chats that I am a part of will show up in the app. I still get the messages, but they all come through via my text messages and not in the app. Basically the app is worthless since I can not see the groups I am part of. I have tried clearing the cache, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, logging out, and everything else I could think of but nothing has fixed it.

App crashes multiple times. Impossible to send messages or to open messages.

This app almost never works properly. The most frustrating and badly made messaging app out there. It can’t be that hard.

This app doesn’t work on an iPhone 6 Plus. I totally understand my iPhone is old, but I am not planning to get a new one any time soon and unfortunately the teacher in my class indicated us to download this app to connect between students. I am not able to read messages because they are just not visible on the screen. It is just a black screen. I am aware that probably there are not to many users using iPhone 6 at this point, but there are still. But I guess we don’t matter.

This app is barely usable on my iPhone 14 Pro 1TB. When a new notification shows up, I have to refresh the app a million times, waiting minutes to finally get the messages to refresh. It’s so buggy! Slack, Discord, or even Signal are far better and less buggy options for group communication.

I’ve tried everything, when I click on a conversation with new messages it’s always blank.

I want to be notified if a discussion is going on but I don’t need to be notified of EVERY SINGLE individual message being sent so I can constantly get spammed with notifications popping up on my screen and dings coming from my speaker. But this app is all or nothing so I’m forced to be constantly bombarded by useless notifications so I know something is happening.

I’m giving it two stars based on past performance prior to the Co-Pilot update. Please allow us to run a previous version that isn’t not constantly impeding posting/reacting to group chats. Also trouble getting the chat to load up to even view others messages. Keeps freezing when I try to scroll down the group thread. Please fix this, even if it means sidelining Co-Pilot for a while. I’m running it on an iPhone 14+.

This app works fine on iPhone and laptop but I’m having a lot of issues with messages not loading on my iPad.

I have an iPhone 15. Do use GroupMe for several groups that I'm in. GM is definitely helpful for groups that have a mix of iPhone and Android users, and are much better than text message groups. But very often I can see that new message came through, but I can't load the new chats when I click on the specific group. I also ran into trying to pull up the QR code for someone to join, and it would not load after multiple attempts.

Whenever I put my phone number in to get a code, it never works it always says please put a valid phone number. When my number is a valid phone number. It’s just being stupid. They need to fix that or else. I’m a sue them

This app crashes frequently and has so many bugs. For instance- after looking at a picture it takes you months back in the conversation. Also it frequently fails to send messages even with excellent internet connection. On top of that, it sends push notifications (that you can’t disable without disabling all other notifications) to advertise Copilot at you, and also does not respect settings telling it to not look at your calendar. Just days before I had a flight scheduled, it sent me a push notification advertising Copilot trip planning. Utterly unacceptable.

This app is very glitchy especially with photos and videos

All chats show up on iPhone. Title of group shows up on iPad but no chat info. What gives?

So I got the app and accidentally signed out and now it won’t let me sign back in

not only does it take up 9 mb of space, but it hasnt even worked! i attempt to send a message and instead of sending, i have to exit the chat and then enter again and only then will it send. this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME i send something. please fix this.

This app was a million times better before updates. Now I get laggy, black screens. Chats won’t load. Etc. I’ve used this app for a decade and it’s never been worse, unfortunately.

There is almost always an app that can do what groupme does, but better. The extremely buggy refreshing and notifications make it unreliable for personal communication (especially when not connected to wifi). The lacking admin privileges in group chats makes it useless for community management — you can’t even delete messages and policy violations. I have no clue why people are giving it such high ratings given all of the 4/5 star reviews are all saying the same thing. Botted reviews, maybe? Pros: It has a like button and will rank popular comments Cons: literally everything else

When I try to look for a previous conversation or topic, I click on the said topic, and it won’t take me there. Please fix this asap.

I don’t know what has happened but this app is consistently glitching. I see the notifications for messages but when I try to open the messages - I just get a blank screen.

Absolutely horrendous "group messaging" application. Constantly crashes when trying to share photos in my company chats. If it wasn't for my company I would immedietly uninstall and never use again. Oh and I'm on a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Absolutely baffling at how bad this app is.

Will not allow me to login whatsoever I try and try to put in my email and or phone number and password and it goes “Something went wrong. Let’s try again.” And after I try it again and again and again the app says the same thing. The app is also glitchy with the loading screen as well. I have tried deleting and reinstalling numerous times and it still doesn’t allow me to access my account so I have to use a relatives device in order to let me use the app. Other than this its a great app when I can use it on someone elses phone

It won’t let me sign in. It asked me for a GroupMe password and I tried literally every password in existence, but yet it wouldn’t allow me to login! I tried to create my account again but then it said my phone number wasn’t valid! Same thing with my email. I’m probably doing something wrong but if I am, they need to make it more clear. It would also help if they would actually send me the emails they said they would.

I have an iPhone 14, I have the app updated, I cannot get this app to work consistently. So many times I will write something inside of a group thread, and it will completely disappear when I hit send. I have found myself having to first write my responses on a note and copy and paste it just in case it gets lost. Many times I open up a group to see the thread and it’s just blank. It’s just a clunky app, I’m very disappointed in it.

I get a notification for a message, and then the message doesn’t show in the app until at least a couple minutes later. It’s super weird.

Everytime I open it some topic conversations are blank & not loaded. Sometimes you can close & re-open the app & they’ll appear, sometimes not. Frustrating experience when you’re trying to communicate.

App fails to load groups consistently and glitches out constantly. Incredibly difficult to use effectively or efficiently.

I think all the extra Microsoft stuff has caused app to be much slower and things never seem to work as easy as they used to. Old app was better.
